नारायण सुर्वे
नारायण गंगाराम सुर्वे (जन्म : १५ ऑक्टोबर १९२६; - १६ ऑगस्ट २०१०[१]) हे मराठी भाषेतील कवी होते. साहित्य क्षेत्रातील योगदानासाठी यांना इ.स. १९९८चा पद्मश्री पुरस्कार देण्यात आला.
नारायण सुर्वे यांच्यावरती मार्क्सवादी विचाराचा पगडा होता ,आपल्या लेखणीतून त्यांनी समाज परिवर्तनाची कवने लिहिली.
जीवन
[संपादन]१९२६-२७ मध्ये मुंबईतील चिंचपोकळीतील एका कापडगिरणीसमोर रस्त्यावरचा एक अनाथ जीव गंगाराम सुर्वे या मुंबईच्या इंडिया वुलन मिलमध्ये साचेवाला म्हणून काम मरणाऱ्या गिरणी कामगाराने उचलून घरात आणला.
[२]त्याच गिरणीत बाईंडिंग खात्यात काम करणाऱ्या गिरणी कामगार काशीबाई सुर्वे यांनी या "बाळगलेल्या पोराला' स्वतःच्या मुलासारखे प्रेम दिले आणि "नारायण गंगाराम सुर्वे' हे नावही दिले.
